<span style="outline: 0px;font-size: 16px;letter-spacing: 2px;">顺庆区城乡建设局相关负责人介绍，该项目全称为城北公园扩建、周边道路体系建设及电力迁改项目（下称“城北公园扩建项目”）。现在的城北公园位于市政府大楼背后的山上，是一座集绿化生态、居民娱乐等多功能为一体的休闲式公园，建成区面积约200亩，于2016年建成开园。按照规划设计，城北公园扩建项目将分两期。建成后，城北公园将与清泉公园成为“邻居”，顺庆区政府打算在两座公园之间架设通道，实现城北公园与整个嘉陵江风景绿道有机融合。</span>

<span style="outline: 0px;font-size: 16px;letter-spacing: 2px;">“现有的城北公园地形自东向西、北两个方向降低，构成类似三层平台式地形，公园内部分布10个山头，最大高差接近80米，因此，在规划设计时，我们特地保留了现有的自然形态。”该负责人告诉记者，城北公园扩建项目分为北部大地景观区、西部农田湿地区、南部生态休闲区、中部休闲活力区4个区域，4个区域将分别以山、水、田、林为主题打造，营造出亚热带特色植物景观群落。通过两期改扩建工程，未来的城北公园将成为顺庆乃至全市的“城市呼吸之窗”。</span>
